Ok so i was browsing the forums and I happened upon this thread;

http://forum.worldof...he-next-nation/

From before the IJN were added to the game. After a little looking around I realized we didn't have another one, so I decided to perform CPR. And here I am, after my three day training camp and 7 day wait for my first aid certificate.

So, for the moment we'll take something for granted (gasp!) and assume that Britain will be the next tree, because if it isn't WG may have the first ever internet riot on their hands. Personally I think this evens the debate out considerably, because Britain is the last absolute must-have nation for the game, and the rest is up for debate. A debate I'm hoping to incite (civily, of course, no chair throwing or declaring duels please. Also, no insulting mothers or sisters, though this should be more of a general unwritten rule for everyone irl).

Please note that this is almost exclusively a copy of Estoni's thread, and he deserves the credit for it. I only added three options, two I've seen suggested and one I myself think is worth considering.

Also, the first question I allowed you to vote for two options, more than that would skew results in this case. Don't feel the need to throw an extra vote in if you don't feel strongly about any of the other nations, this isn't like clearing your plate and children in Africa wont be upset because you didn't use your extra vote. For question two I didn't limit you because there's less of a cap on that, we'll at the most get one more tech tree but there's a lot of possibilities when it comes to adding more premium planes. Heck, vote for them all if you want them all.

If you have a particular plane you have in mind, feel free to post a quick blurb about it below. The more feedback WG gets on what we want the higher the probability of it happening. If you want to state which nation you picked and why that's fine too.

Disclaimer: Please note that I have not, nor do I currently intend to enroll in a CPR or first aid training course, am entirely ignorant of how long it takes to do or receive accreditation for the course, and am sorry if my joke has somehow managed to offend someone to the point that I actually needed to include this disclaimer (hereby referred to as "joke") for any practical reason.

So where is the choice for Great Britian?  Not that it matters, because the U.K IS the next ciountry comming into the game.

I said this in OP, but I'll reiterate it here because I'm a nice guy and I don't want to send you searching, we're assuming that the U.K. is the next tech tree, and these options are afterwards. I guess I technically should have titled this "the next next tech tree/nation" but that's one too many "next"s and I'm lazy.

Honestly, if another nation beats Britain in you'll find me on the floor laughing/dodging internet tear gas grenades thrown at the digital rioters. I just hope they don't blame me and this poll, otherwise we may witness a lynch mob in our lifetime.

You forgot Sweden. Yes, they actually had some pretty cool planes during ww2/post ww2. If you don't believe me look at some of these wikipedia pages.

Not to even delve into the long list of prototype aircraft and modified aircraft that they made. I mean they look way more solid than the Chinese do in wot.

France invented the Hispano-Suiza cannon, so I guess it makes sense. Said cannon is one of the best in the war, having supreme kinetic energy and muzzle velocity comparable to an M2 Browning. That and the D 520 being quite a sexy beast.

That, and if I'm not mistaken they had the very first standing air force. Really, by history alone they probably deserve it the most but we aren't just talking history, we're talking opinion on planes.

As a side note, why am I being negged?? I mean yeah I'm a smart aleck, and if you want to neg me go right ahead but I'd appreciate knowing the problem so I don't repeat it in the future.

Okay, I'll add them to the poll. I threw this together on my last dregs of conciousness last night, plus I wasn't really looking for countries to add, I was just going by community suggestion. If you guys have other nations feel free to suggest them (keep in mind I only have 11 spots).

Edit: added sweden to full tech tree list and both sweden and china to premium plane list, out of spots on full list so new suggestions will have to fight for their right.

Since we're still on planes, let me list my opinion:

I'd prefer France and Italy. France, like I said, made the HS 404, the D 520 is sexy, the DEFA can be a good end-tier cannon, mounted on the Mystère, and if the latter doesn't get in, then at least the Ouragan with its 540 mph can be tier 9. Italy has lots of good planes, such as the MC 205, the sexy as hell Re 2005, and jets like the Sagittario 2 and Ariete. All could be nice choices for a complete tech tree.

For prem nations, I'll go with Australia (or as I like to call it, Straya) due to the Boomerang, Kangaroo and Wirraway for UK prem planes, and Dutch Fokker planes for German prems. Romania's IAR 80 may be interesting.

Didn't mean to challeneg you, was just saying all the other nations deserve an equal chance really, they all have merits. Me, I chose france because of the above reasons and Italy because they were the only other axis power that has planes I know about. For premium, i chose Canada and Australia, Canada mostly because I'm canadian and Australia because I like the idea of flying a kangaroo. Yes, because of it's name, I don't need much to be happy lol.

I'm assuming that the UK as left out of the original poll due to it already been confirmed as the next to be added. Canada and Australia already have a decent portion of their Air Forces added in game with the US tree, and then the rest with the British tree.  I really don't think you can make a tree out of them, although i would not mind an upgraded CAC Sabre or Mustang.

Right on the first count and probably right on the second, If Canada got a tech tree it would most likely be similar to the Chinese tree in WoT with nation specific variants and original craft for later tiers. I'd like to see a canuck, it's kind of the spiritual predecessor to the arrow and it actually saw service. Interceptors are cool no matter what they are. might be a little out of the frame for this game, but it was designed in the fifties so there's hope lol. I really don't know, I'm not in the higher tiers yet.

Actually France had some really nice tech both land and air in the interwar years. If their tactics had evolved like their tech 1940 would have been VERY different. I would like to have a chance to test out some of that enginering :). I also would really like to see the Saabs.  Sweden has quietly made some rather kickbutt planes over the past 80 years and it would becool to see them

It is clearly that beside the already have nations,France and Italy are the most prominent stars for the next position,France has some nice lower tier plane from the Interwar while Italy has the complete brach for fighter.IMO Italy has more potential than France, they also have jet prototype like the Caproni Campini N.1.
