hello and welcome, please use the search feature as this has all come up in the past many times. Getting the link (ie getting a beta key to join beta testing) can take anywhere from hours to months. It really just depends on if they need more testers in various demographics of knowledge. Stay attuned to the forum for updates to upcoming beta key giveaways. Other testers might advise that they have extra keys, please do not beg or solicit though, that will not work, don't be "that" person.
There is an NDA that prevents divulging specifics but it is aimed at both people who have played flight games before and those for whom this is their first, so no matter what you have for input control, it will most likely work.

I love the idea behind the development of a game. I mean it's a virtually limitless field. No restrictions, no bars. Just the ability your mind has to create, wonder, explore, and imagine. I mean you can make literally anything! I love that you don't have to own a studio to make one, and that you can be the greatest ever out of your basement, how it connects you to millions yet you might be all alone in real life. It's not just a game when it comes down to it. It's a life that can form into a brand new idea that you never would've imagined, and it doesn't stop, and it never will.
