Hello Pilots!
We want to hear your feedback! In addition to answering the poll above, we would like your feedback on the categories below:
Battles played - How many games have you flown in this plane?
Plane balance - please explain why you think this plane is overpowered, underpowered, or balanced. Give specific reasoning like firepower, turn rates, climb speed, etc., that contribute to the planes balance.
Historical accuracy - please note any specific characteristics that make this plane unique historically and what things may be missing from that would better reflect the capabilities of the plane.
Power curve - How does the plane feel stock vs. fully upgraded?
Adjustment recommendations - Explain any recommendations you have to balance this plane and why.
Additional notes - Anything else you have to say about this plane that doesn’t fit in another section above. Include any tactics or uses that may have been overlooked by other players.
Cheers!

Battles played - 46 (about 40 battles with upgraded equipment)
Plane balance - good or a bit OP. It has so nice maneuverability and good guns.
Historical accuracy - Why engine type for Kotobuki is "water-cooled," not air-cooled? Ah, and I don't know about these 13.2mm guns.
Power curve - Nice. Of course upgraded one is better, mainly in firepower, but stock one can earn with dog-fighting for good maneuverability.
Adjustment recommendations - Nothing.
Additional notes - I want an A5M3a (A5M1 with a water-cooled engine and 20mm Hub-mounted gun)

This is the Zero I so much wanted to play. Unfortunately ALL Tier III's face a certain problem that we may not name or even try to fix. The actual Zero was described by the engineers who examined the plane which crashed in Alaska as being crafted like a watch. It was phenomenal, like the swallows which fly outside my window. Here, it does not perform up to its legendary status, no matter how carefully I try to fly it. I miss the Zero I had so much hoped to play. I dread the day that the Spitfire is introduced as a Tier III and face a similar untenable position in the tech tree. Wulf

This is the A5M actually. Also, the Spitfire is more going to be tier 5 really since the mk I was the equivalent of the 109E in terms of performance (except dive and high speed control).

This plane was so disappointing that I stopped my journey down the Japanese tech tree altogether.

If you see a Panzer flying a 109, you are probably already dead.-Me.

Can destroy two ground targets (1 bomb + 20mm strafe run per target), scare something, then dies very quickly once it is targeted while chasing something.
Extremely maneuverable (great climb and turn radius), and extremely fragile).
Almost completely a waste of time to use.
Feels like a joke 'premium' vehicle more than something to put in the tech tree.
Might be interesting as a pocket strategy to have a ton of these in a 'platoon' battle.

Since I can't get my Ki-33 back, this will have to do. Played it here and in beta. It is a turn fighter, and used best in support. Never fight head on in it.

I don't have much to say on this plane. So far, it's very fun to play and is quite good in my opinion.
