Hands down, WoT is better.  WoWp's or how ever you with to abbreviate this game is, honestly, just bad.   They should just buy War Thunder and throw away what they have thrown together in this WoWP.  Just awful.

Do you like tanks or planes? Decide from there...

I'm reposting these screenshots from the beta thread. These are from the new WoWP. This version will be released probably within the next thirty days.

(these were posted by a dev on that public livejournal, so they don't break the NDA)

IMO you're hamstrung by WG's deep-rooted "I've got a secret" complex.

Hmmm... that's not something I can just decide right off, I'd say both WoT and WoWp are 'bout equal to me...

As much as I like Aircraft games, I'll stick to Gaijins's Birds of Steel on my PS3. this game just doesnt capture the "feel" for me, to arcade'y.
CAPTAIN: But... how will I learn to fly, Herr Colonel?

COLONEL: The way we do everything in the German army: from the book of instructions.

WoT is the most successful game ever produced by WG, well you cannot compare to the game still under CBT. WoWP still need to be improve (That's why we are here.. to test the game) before Open Server.

I prefer WoT, A) Because I have the game, and B) I NEED THAT FREAKIN CHURCHILL. Then I will be satisfied.

As of this point, you cant really make a comparison because WoWP has not been completed yet. But, as mentioned earlier this game is more forgiving if you are engaging a plane of higher tier as it is more skill based. Can't wait for upcoming improvements. :D

Which game is better really depends on your perspective.  Those amongst us who are armour fanatics are going to enjoy World of Tanks more, and it requires a considerable amount of knowledge in how to play the game effectively.

Those amongst us who are flight aficionado's are going to enjoy World of warplanes more because it requires constant attention and keeps you on your toes to fly a plane competitively.

To each their own.
