I have a list for the G seiries bombers of WW2, and what they did.

G3M "Nell" An early model of what would become the G4M. Not very good carpet bomber, but was good for torpedo bombing or reconnasince.
G4M "Betty". Modest carpet bomber with a much better AA defense then it's predecesor. Could also be fitted with torps or later in the war, the Yokosuka MXY-7 "Ohka".
G5N "Liz", Would have been a Japanese heavy bomber similar to the B-29, but was instead used as a heavy transport. Not very many were built in 1943. Would have great AA defense.
G7N  This monstrosity was to be an even bigger verson of the G5N. Basically the same but have a much bigger bomb load. Only 2 were actually built I'm guessing. G8N."Renzan". This was to be (suprisingly) yet another one of the G series bombers. One mock up/ complete prototype was built, I think.
G10N "Fugaku". This................this......monstrosity was to carry a 40k lb bomb load, or be fitted with 40 machineguns facing down for an air raid or anti-infantry support. Last version of the G series, no mock up was built, just blueprints.

How does this topic relate to there being no bombers!? READ THE OP.
I never said anything about that. I'm just telling them about main Japanese bombers of WWII. But, the G3M and the G4M would make big, but good night fighters.

He has the right to talk about them though. Come on, I never expected 40 .50 cals pointed downwards and a 40k lb bomb load from a single bomber. D:

Anyway, Nikko, I DEMAND PICS.

If you are going to do an informative post then read the forum rules on this section, more then 500 words and also visuals, what Heh has done is a good start, however that all needs to be in the OP

Since Crag is right about the rules, maybe I should make a thread for each plane. Would be great eye candy I guess.

What's a mackerel? A fish? I have no idea what it looks like. It appears that I forgot the G8N Renzan.............

What the hell are you talking about? It took 5 30mms shells or 25 20mm shells to down a B-17, while it took a single 30mm shell or 4-5 20mm shells to down a fighter. This proves that bombers have FIVE TIMES the durability of a fighter, and if we consider that fact for WoWP, bombers would take a serious wallop before dying. It's their predictable and slow flight path that make them easy meat.

He is specifically mentioning the G3M and the G4M, two of the easiest bombers in the entire war to shoot down!!

If he said a B-17, then yeah they could take a hell of a lot of punishment, but every Japanese Bomber was easy to shoot down minus the Ki-67 Peggy, which had armor and self-sealing fuel tanks, as well as being very fast.

Oh yeah, Japanese "ARMOR IS FOR SISSIES" doctrines... Wasn't a smart idea for bombers tbh, only for fighters.
